“He’s got something to say.” These words have been used to describe the music of Singer/Songwriter/Composer Kriss Bryan.

Music has always been a wellspring of inspiration for Kriss who has made an art form of transforming the simplest of life’s experiences into song and melody.

Perhaps his Jamaican roots encouraged him to find melody in everything around him. With parents who were amateur artists in their own right (his mom in her kitchen and his dad behind a camera), the natural talent evident in Kriss was encouraged to blossom and bear fruit. The music his parents loved poured over him in those early days. Kriss absorbed everything from Classical music to the driving early rhythms of Ska and Reggae.

In his youth, his talents were utilized in so many school events that his family couldn’t hope to keep count; and those talents were further honed within the church choir. His gift was renowned in his little area of Boston Mass. As he grew and needed an expression for his own unique vibe for music naturally Kriss became something of an eclectic.  He began to write for himself, a singular experience he did not know he could share with anyone. Nor did he know how he could share his gifts, but fate would intervene…

In 2007, Kriss found himself at a gathering of some 200+ people who wanted to “hear” what he had to say.  The tread of his thoughts put to melody gave rise to encore after encore.  This moment changed how Kriss viewed his talent and gave him the drive to put his own work out for others to experience.  Driven to touch people with a new approach, he had found his own voice and writes feverishly (sometimes as much as a song a day).

Soon his sound came to the ears of a few people with the ability to see and judge star quality for themselves and these were and are their words. “He’s got something to say.”

He’s had a song to sing since the age of two and hasn’t stopped since. Take the time to listen and you may just find that the song you need to hear is Kriss’.
